Hey everyone, tomorrow is Earth Day!
As most of you know, we are now a AAA approved repair shop. In celebration of Earth Day, AAA is inviting anyone and everyone who drives (or anyone with a used car battery), to drop off their batteries at any AAA approved body shop. For every battery that they get, AAA will plant a tree in the Mountains to Sound Greenway along I-90. So bring down your used car batteries, and let's turn this place into a forest!

Winter Wonderland

Hello All,
I hope everyone had great holidays and that you are all staying safe. To help, we have put together a few winter driving tips. Stay safe, and keep your passengers safe!

Winter might have already started, but it is never too late; prepare your car for winter driving. If you have not done it yet, go and get any needed tune ups. When your car is tuned up, it is less likely to break down on you in the chance that you get stuck in a snow storm. Check your brakes, head lights and tail lights, battery, windshield wipers, antifreeze level, oil, belts and filters. Find the chains that will work best for your car, and keep them in it at all times. You never know when you may need them.

Before driving, brush the snow off your vehicle. It makes it easier for other drivers to see you. Also, when ice falls off of your vehicle, it becomes a potential hazard to other drivers on the road. Allow yourself extra time to arrive where you are going. Rushing in the snow is not only dangerous, but it is not going to change the fact that there is traffic.

While driving be sure to use your headlights. Just because you think you can see, doesn't mean everyone else on the road can. Having your lights on will help other drivers know that you are on the road. Don't use cruise control. While using cruise control it is harder to feel what is on the road. Black ice is hard to see, and you never know when the person in front of you is going to slam on their brakes. Keeping your feet on the pedals and at the ready will increase reaction time, and prevent more accidents. Also, be sure that you are keeping a good distance from the car in front of you. Especially if you are driving a truck. Larger vehicles take longer to stop.

When possible, slow down before things like intersections, off-ramps, bridges and shady spots. These are all places where ice might be hard to see. Most importantly, keep your eyes on the road, and make sure that you have enough stuff in your car for the rare occasion that you do break down in the middle of a blizzard.

It's time

Time to take all of the Halloween decorations down and time to get back to work! That is exactly what we are doing here at Precision. We finally got the website done, and just today we received our new uniforms in the mail! Now all we have to do is get some cars rolling out of here! By this time tomorrow we should be looking pretty spiffy! I hope you all thoroughly enjoyed the holiday. I know we all did!

We finally got our website up and running! This is such a relief! It has been a journey.
If you check our website out, it tells you all about us: what we do, who we are, how we started...etc. There is also some handy dandy information on there like terminology that you might not know. We have a Frequently Asked Questions section with questions regarding the whole repair process. Basically, we want to make getting your car repaired with us as easy and comfortable as possible!
